i’m hopelessly in love with mountain biking (which might not be very girly of me). one of my favorite things in the world is navigating a narrow singletrack trail, dodging trees and thinking fast, realising ‘i am alive’. sometimes i crash, sometimes i have to pick the dirt from under my nails and nurse my wounds. sometimes i hurt for days on end. but i can never get back on my bike fast enough. i’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, and despite its shortcomings, i couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. every time i get out into nature, i’m reminded of why i’m so happy living here. even if the weather’s bad and i can’t ride, there’s a good chance i’m wrenching on a bike, or looking at catalogs of stuff i can’t afford (i’d rather spend money on mountain bike parts rather than clothes!)
i’m also a musician, a writer, an artist. DIY for as long as i can remember. i use found objects to create something new. i like taking things apart to see how they work (and sometimes just to see if i can put it back together again.) i’m proudly geeky and a Linux user.
